VOLUNTARY ON THE OLD 100TH by Henry Purcell is an arrangement from an organ piece, based upon the traditional hymn "All people that on earth do dwell...". Many Christian faiths would recognize the melody as the "Doxology." It dates back to the second edition of the Genevan Psalter of 1562, and receives its current name from an association with the 100th Psalm. (Skill level: high school and above)
