From the "King of Ragtime", here are two of Joplin's many rags. Solace - A Mexican Seranade is a slower-paced rag, a habañera of sorts, with a bit of Latin flavor. Rag-Time, a Stop-Time Two-Step is one of Joplin's more energetic rags, with some engaging sliding-chromatic harmonies. (Skill level: high school and above)
