The original title, My Latest Sun is Sinking Fast, was set to many tunes. The most familiar tune, Angel Band, is universally attributed to William Batchelder Bradbury, and first published in 1862. A contemplative, peaceful melody, this arrangement displays the sonorous ability of the horn quartet.
